Summary: The Director of Finance shall have the duties and responsibilities for all finance, controlling and tax related activities of Broetje Automation-USA, Inc. commensurate with such position and as specified by the CEO of Broetje Automation-USA, Inc. You will act as strategic partner of the CEO to lead all aspects of finance and accounting for a US subsidiary of a global company.
This role will actively participate in strategic planning and initiate strategic proposals for business growth, productivity and profitability improvement and deliver strong leadership in budgeting and forecasting processes. In this position, you will oversee the daily administration of the finance organization for the Company. Responsible for preparation and submittal of financial reporting, project controlling and operational analysis. Ensure the high reliability and timely delivery of financial reporting in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements.

Education & experience:
- Bachelor’s or higher with major of finance or accounting.
- CPA or MBA preferred
- More than 7 years working experience in the area and thereof, at least 3 years working experience in manufacturing/custom project-based companies.
- Experience working in an international environment.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with IFRS for financial closing and reporting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong willingness to work in a team.
- Excellent leadership to motivate and build up a team.
Desirable Experience (not required):
- SAP Knowledge of FI and CO Module
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for Financial Controlling, Project Controlling and Finance & Accounting.
- Direct annual planning and budgeting including cost center and financial planning, forecasting and controlling in order to achieve the financial targets.
- Project cost estimation and controlling including maintenance of hourly rates and overhead rates as well as provide analysis of project cost variances.
- Identifying the areas where actions are required to achieve financial target and optimize the business and process.
- Monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and period reporting package according to IFRS and Local GAAP.
- Treasury management. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism to ensure a healthy cash flow forecast and financing the gap at lower cost.
- Ability to drive and document process and internal controls.
- Oversees the local internal control system and incorporates the rules of the BA group
- Responsible for auditing, tax, and legal issues.
